Eli normally squats barefoot – being a hobbit, after all. But he recently started wearing his new Olympic lifting shoes while he squats. He hit 200kg and it looked easy, then 210kg, same… then took this 220kg – FAIL!

BUT… Notice how NICE his form is when he fails. It’s a very nice squat right up until the end. No ugly rounded back or other BS. Just a nice high-quality lowering of the bar to the floor, lol
THAT is how you FAIL every day without risking injury.
At first, your technique will suck BEFORE you fail, so you’ll have to stop the instant your form gets bad!
Eventually, you’ll be squatting like Eli — you will never squat with shit form, ever. Instead, you’ll just keeping going until that nanosecond when you lose it, and then safely bail.
