“Between 4 and 7 o’clock in the morning… I go to sleep promptly when I go to bed. Then I wake up around 4 and can’t sleep. But my mind’s clear, so I get up and work for three or four hours. Then I go to bed for another nap.”
I once had a friend ask me how I get so much done. At the time I owned a gym, was going to grad school full time, was writing for an online fitness mag, and blogged regularly. I told her, “I don’t sleep”. That was a joke, but it was/is also true.
There are benefits to being an insomniac: you have more time.
